A typical staged process for most projects is as follows:

• Free initial consultation at property address - feasibility checked
• No obligation quotation - timescales and costs provided
• Measured Survey carried out
• Design meeting(s) with clients - drawings produced and developed
• Planning Permission application submitted
• Liaise with other if required e.g. Structural Engineer
• Building Warrant application submitted
• Documents issued for tender to contractors
• Pre-start meeting with Client and Contractor on site
• Site visits or inspections if required

Many new clients are not aware of the lead-in times required to get the various Permissions, Warrants or Consents required to prior to starting construction, therefore we aim to minimise the time of this pre-construction phase.

To make clients feel confident about building design decisions meeting are arranged to develop ideas into a solution, rather than simply proceeding with the first drawings. We can prepare design proposals in 3D, this gives clients and also Council Planners an enhanced version of our proposal, with context, depth and perspective.
